I have had great luck with this pda. I prefer not to have sound, so, there may be enabled sounds, but I want my PDA to be quiet. It is great for calendar entries, shopping lists and an address book. It has bluetooth and takes a memory card and has and other features beyond my needs. Palm made great PDAs and it is a shame they stopped selling these products. I've had this unit for years and am now looking for a replacement battery. The battery life, including time between charges has been better than any other PDA I've owned over the years.
